November 20, 2023 New Annan, PE – East Prince RCMP safely arrested 42-year-old Matthew French yesterday in connection to a truck that was stolen November 10^th from a business in New London, damages and fuel theft from a business in in Prince County November 11^th and driving while prohibited on November 19^th.

Matthew French is in custody and will appear in court later today to answer to charges of:

• Driving while prohibited x 2
• Possession of property obtained by crime (stolen pick up truck)
• Mischief under $5000 x 2 (in relation to damages done during the fuel theft)
• Theft of diesel
• Failure to comply with a Probation Order
